An average season is approximately 18-20 days in length. It is weather dependent and each year/season is different.
A normal harvest typically begins around June 10th, but again, this is determined by Mother Nature. It could be sooner, it could be later!
We strongly encourage you to sign up for our email list to receive daily updates during harvest, or for the most “Real Time” updates, follow the farm on Facebook.
Once harvest does begin, the berries DO NOT WAIT for anyone or anything! It is an extremely SHORT and SWEET season! Watch your emails closely so you don’t miss out!
We supply the containers for picking, free of charge. In addition, our scales are calibrated to deduct the weight of the tray when you check out. So essentially, you are just paying for your fruit!
Please note: If you are bringing children, you may wish to bring a small bucket/container for them to pick in that can be poured into the container to be weighed at check out.
- We accept cash and all major credit cards.
- There will be a $2 convenience fee for each credit/debit card transaction.
- A $10 minimum purchase per farm visit is required, no matter the form of payment.
Mother Nature, along with supply and demand, ultimately determines our hours of picking.
Normal farm hours during harvest are
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE:
Monday-Friday the front gate will close at 7:30 pm, and all customers are asked to exit the fields by 8:00 pm.
Saturday & Sunday the front gate will close at 4:30 pm, and pickers are asked to exit the fields by 5:00 pm.

Our strawberries are not your typical store-bought berries. We grow our berries for FLAVOR, not size. Our berries have a very high juice content and the flavor far exceeds anything you can find in the store!
While we are not a certified organic farm, we do work very closely with Michigan State University on an Integrated Pest Management System. This means we use the LEAST amount of pesticides necessary in order to ensure the high quality of fruit our customers have come to expect. NO chemicals are applied post-bloom, which means our berries are 100% safe to eat directly in the field.
Weeds on our farm are taken care of with a good ol’ fashioned hoe! We take great pride in maintaining the most weed-free fields possible. Hoeing takes place on our farm from early spring into late fall.
Yes! We have porta-potties available on the farm.
Yes! While our farm is set up perfectly for the u-pick experience, we realize that not everyone has the time or ability to pick their own.
Already-picked berries are sold by the quart fresh off the vine.
When we are able to offer pre picked berries, they will be first come first serve. We no longer accept orders for pre picked berries.
All pre-picked berries are weather and ripening-dependent.
We will advise throughout the season on days we are able to offer pre picked berries.
Please note:
We only offer pre-picked berries during the peak of our season, when the fruit is the most plentiful! This time frame may only last 7 days OR it may last 14 days. It is all up to Mother Nature!

While pets are not permitted in our strawberry fields, they can be walked on a leash in and around the parking areas. Please be courteous and pick up after your pet!
When our fields are full of ripe fruit, it is very difficult to navigate a stroller/wagon down the rows without damaging the fruit you will be picking.
Therefore, strollers/wagons are only allowed on the OUTSIDE rows of our fields. If you have a little one that requires a stroller, please let our field attendants know and they will do their best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
No picnic facilities are available at our farm. However, any team member will be happy to guide you to the closest parks in the area!
No, we do not use GMOs. All of our plants are GMO-free. For more information on GMOs, please visit: https://gmoanswers.com/
- While we do allow groups, our farm is not equipped to handle full-sized buses or motor coaches.
- We pick in several fields at all times.
- Traffic flow is important in running a smooth operation, therefore, we do not allow you to go looking for your friends as this causes many problems.
- If coming in 2-3 separate vehicles, we highly encourage you to meet at a designated area off-farm premises before you enter to have a better chance of picking together and make a better experience for all!
Due to harvest encompassing such a short time frame (18 days on average), we are not able to offer field trips.
